My Story
My name is Lexi. Growing up, my mother gifted me a jade pendant, a symbol of protection and good luck. She told me it would shield me from harm and bring positive energy into my life. Through every challengeβwhether academic setbacks or personal heartachesβI carried that pendant with me. It became my anchor, a constant reminder of hope, resilience, and the strength to keep moving forward.
When I moved to the UK for bachelor degree and United States for master degree, I noticed a trend around me: people wore crystal jewelry and displayed crystal ornaments in their homes. It struck me that, like me, many people believed in the healing energies of gemstones. There was a shared appreciation for the power of crystals.
Living in a melting pot of diverse cultures, I observed that many Americans associated Chinese culture with traditional symbols like Bruce Lee, kung fu, and the yin-yang. But I knew there was so much more to Chinese cultureβits art, fashion, and the ancient wisdom embedded in every piece of jewelry, every design. I began sharing elements of Chinese fashionβclothing, accessories, and jewelryβwith my classmates and friends. They were fascinated by the beauty and craftsmanship, often remarking on how distinct and striking the designs were.
It was in those moments of shared appreciation that I realized something: there was an opportunity to bridge the gap between Chinese aesthetics and the global love for crystal jewelry. Inspired by my own connection to jade, I decided to create jewelry that not only reflected the elegance of modern Chinese design but also incorporated the healing properties of crystals.
And so, Shuiyu was born. The name "Shuiyu" (ζ°΄η) is the poetic term for crystal in ancient China. More than just accessories, Shuiyu is a lifestyle. Our pieces are meant to inspire strength, beauty, and resilienceβjust as that jade pendant did for me all those years ago.Β In the dance of jade and water, we forge bridges between ancestral whispers and your boldest self.
Our logo
Our logo is inspired by the dance of water and jade. It is also a visual embodiment of our philosophyβrooted in the harmonious balance between nature, energy, and Chinese cultural heritage.

The fluid brushstroke forming a circular motion represents water, an element associated with adaptability, purity, and wisdom in Chinese culture. Just like water, crystals hold energy that flows and interacts with their wearer, creating a sense of balance and transformation.
The circular shape also resembles an ancient jade hoop, a sacred Chinese symbol of harmony, protection, and spiritual transcendence. Jade has been revered for millennia as a stone of wisdom and virtue, much like how our crystal bracelets carry both aesthetic beauty and meaningful energy.
Our logo is more than a designβit is a visual meditation on the power of nature, the wisdom of culture, and the energy of self-discovery. It represents our dedication to crafting jewelry that is not just an ornament, but a meaningful connection to culture, energy, and personal growth.
